Most Wanted

Like many others, I haven't been able to figure out where this John Bray comes from. He is the progenitor of my line of Brays in St. Teath. Some trees have him listed as a descendant of William Bray and Mary Sloggatt of St Teath; however, on his marriage record, it states that he is not from St. Teath.

Help! We don't know who these people are. Some clues: the man's beard suggests he was probably a Bible Christian. It looks like the photo was taken around 1870ish, but this is just a guess. On the back of the photo, someone has written "Bray relations" and it was found on the Bray farm in Hope Township, Ontario.
